The Unexpected Everything

The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson.
I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars. This book was good. This book just got me in straight away. The story was so well told and interesting. It was just a great summer contemporary and fun loving book.

This story is about Andie who’s dad is a congressman and is under investigation. They barely know each other and this things happen that means they have to spend the summer together and get to know each other again. So this really spoke to me since that is what happen to my Dad and I last year. This book will forever have a special place in heart.

It is also about friendship and love and things changing for the better and finding a new passion inside yourself that you didn’t know you had.

Hi everyone

Sorry I have been a litre absent lately. I haven’t finished any new books yet. I have started about three and put them down. I have decided to do a monthly books haul. Soon that will be coming soon and more reviews. I just started reading this two days ago.  It is Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell. I finally got a time turner after all these years of wanting one. Yayy

Falling kingdom

Here is my review for Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes.

On the front of this book it saids for fans of game of thrones. Don’t shoot but I haven’t seen it yet but the book sounded so good. I had to buy it. A couple of reviews I read all said don’t get too attached the characters so I only got attached to the like three characters in each country.

The characters are soo well told and written. I loved the different perspective of each character. I love cleo and have a love almost hate relationship with Magnus and his sister is awesome and love her story and journey. Magnus is almost so broken and suffered so much but acts like he is fine.

The history and beliefs they have in this story and world is soo amazing loved it so much. But some beliefs are forgotten or forced to be forgotten and only little snippets are still told. HATE HATE HATE the King of blood. You will learn who he is and hate him

Here is my review for Splintered by A. G. Howard.
This book is read for Dymocks Paranormal book club. All I knew about this book is that it was a retelling on Alice and Wonderland. The book started really weirdly the main character is introduced by painting bugs and insects onto and into her painting. The story is she is a descendant from Alice who fell down the rabbit hole in England and it has curses her family. She has undo all of the things that Alice did in wonderland and more. I love the way it was told once she was wonderland. So I enjoy this books quiet a lot but it didn’t make me want to read the rest of the series. I am happy with how it ended and left it like that.

Six of Crows

Here is my review of Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I read this book for Dymocks YA book club. It was April’s book of the month.

So this book is kind of a spinoff series of Shadow and Bone as in it is set in the same world, different characters but the same beliefs and government. It took me awhile get into the world since I have not read the Shadow and Bone series. I didn’t know anything about the world so I was kinda of fun to get to know an already well established world and the characters as well.

The characters were so well written. The main characters go on a heist into a impenetrable castle and prison. It was so complicated and fantastic it was like a Sherlock episode in the way of thinking. Just when I thought that I had figured them out and there plan, they did something I so didn’t expect that just left me with my mouth open and feeling like they had outsmarted me again.

There were a lot of twist and turns and so much history and depth. It had kickass main female characters so that was another thing that just made me love it. So in a word I loved it. Can’t wait for the next book

Isla and the happily ever after

Here is my review for Isla and the happily ever after by Stephanie Perkins.

This book was a but different then the other in the series but still sooo good. Throughout most of the book I just kept waiting for something bad to happen in the book the was the really bad thing that happen in the book so I couldn’t enjoy it completely and when the bad thing did happen I was just sad for the characters. But it was so good and really good ending to the last book of the series. I loved so much how you go to see the other characters from the books and have meaning in the stories and to the characters

Lola and the boy next door

Here is my review of Lola and the boy next door.

Oh my god. This book was so good. It took me awhile to really get into since I hated max and would become really uninterested in the page do as he was in it and cricket was so awesome and unbelievably kind to both his sister and Lola. So I definitely enjoyed this book and this series is so goood. This book was my least favourite of the series.

Here is my review on Soundless by Richelle Mead.

I was really excited for this book saw at Dymocks and had to get it straight away. I enjoyed a lot the beginning and the ending was amazing with the Chinese myths and the way she first describes hearing and has to learn the world for the sounds. But I did slow down a lot in the middle it just wasn’t as interesting and I dragged on a bit about somethings. The ending for me really was amazing focusing a bit more of the Chinese myths and legends which is what really interested me.

The Red Queen

Here is my review on the Red Queen by Victoria Ayeyard.

This book I am just going to start with oh my god like seriously. So this book was really really good but the reason I only gave it four stars actual forget about the four stars i am changing it to five stars. So oh my god cal and marven mare such good character and it sucks you in and plays with your emotions so much.

So I while reading it I could feel the emotion and started feeling them myself but cal always the gentleman melted my heart instantly and marven he was okay nothing compared to cal. I got the total feels for this book. I would so recommend this book to anyone but just be willing to wait a couple of months for the next one that is what I did.

I originally bought it in February when came at then heard there would be a second but not until 2016 and I kept delaying read until I just couldn’t any more. But having said all of that I really didn’t enjoy the ending like i know why it was that way but still didn’t enjoy it and might read the next one might not.
