The Book of Pearl

The Book of Pearl by Timothèe De Fombelle.
I read this book for Dymocks YA book Club. I really enjoyed this book.

I found it to be a some what easy but light read. The reason being for a some what easy read is that it was told in different worlds and it had two main characters perspectives and a secondary characters perspective. The secondary characters plays a big role in the end but not in the rest of the book.

I loved the different worlds and Paris before , during and after world war 2. The two main characters were written really well and the writing was also written really well so that you could immerse herself in the story and the world.

I have heard that no many people liked it but I still gave it a 5 out of 5 stars.
